Rule of Thirds

Rule of thirds is a 3 by 3, squared grid in which shots on video cameras are set up. The rules are that eye level must be around the the second horizontal line, giving enough head space for a close up shot if necessary. The action is usually set up where the 2 lines meet, there are 4 point where this can happen and is usually the corners of the center square . There must also be a colour background which captures depth and realism within the shot.

Pretty good explanation. Well done. This would definitely benefit from an image to illustrate all the lines. See if you can find/make one.
